Our data recovery charges are based on the Device Capacity and the extent of the Device Failure, not on the size of the data. This is because the cost of recovering data from a damaged or faulty hard drive depends on the severity of the damage and the amount of work/resources required to retrieve the data, rather than the actual data size itself.

Deleted or formatted data, corrupted file systems and partitions on a drive that is still mechanically healthy. No clean room required.

Firmware failure

The drive spins but is not detected, reports the wrong capacity, or is stuck busy. Repaired with hardware-based tools at service-area level.

Hardware failure

₹10,500

Clicking, beeping or seized drives, head and motor faults and physical damage. Opened only inside our Class 100 clean room.

Prices shown are starting charges. The final figure depends on the device and the severity of the fault. Your analysis is free and takes 25-30 minutes once the drive reaches the lab, and you get a firm quote before any work begins.

1. Logical Failure

Our approach to sector-by-sector cloning is safe; we only work on clones and never on patient drives, and a number of advanced software programs will be used to fix logical corruption and build up data structures.

2. Firmware Failure

We will use advanced hardware-based tools to manage partially damaged read-write heads and create a map of the good sectors. As a result, we will be able to fix the service area modules and gain data access.

3. Hardware Failure

In a controlled environment (Class 100 Clean Room) with very low levels of environmental pollutants, advanced world-class tools, and donor drives will be used for read-write heads and platter transplantation.

What the charges cover, what moves the price, and what happens if the recovery does not succeed.

Charges start at ₹3,000 for a logical recovery, ₹6,000 where the fault is in the drive’s firmware, and ₹10,500 for hardware faults that have to be opened in the clean room. The final figure depends on the capacity of the drive and how severe the fault is, and you are told it before any work starts.
Because these are three different jobs. Recovering deleted files from a healthy disk is not the same work as repairing a firmware module, which is not the same as replacing a head stack inside a Class 100 clean room.
